Paint Your Imaginations!! - A quick guide for coloring your life spaces.

The home ambiance is all about having the feel of safe , secure and comfort. It is the only place you wanted to be whenever you are tired or need a good relaxation. The interiors, artifacts, structures, show cases, interior lights etc constitutes to this level. Your home is one of the center points of your life, a place of enjoyment and of sanctuary. As such, you’ll want a home that reflects who you are.

When decorating, the smallest details can make a difference in the image you present. An important part of those details is the colors you choose to use in decorating the interior of your home. The right color palette helps to complete the room in a way few other decorative elements can.

The Wonder Castle

We all know that color has the power to transform an interior. But how do you use it? A fresh coat of paint is the easiest way to make a change at home but choosing a color palette can be daunting and, at times, confusing. There are some scientific and logical methods on choosing the right ambiance for your home,

Develop a color palette for each room based on the room's specific use, the structure of the room, and the emotional impact you wish the room to make on the occupants. Use a favorite object from the room such as a rug or furnishing, or a decorative element such as a painting or vase on which to build the palette. Take the predominant color of the item and base the palette on that. Use the item color as the main color for the walls, and consider using complementary colors or shades of the same color to paint the wall trim, architectural details and ceiling.
Choose the right colors

Use lighter colors to make a room more welcoming for visitors. Orange and yellow colors invoke feelings of warmth, and are useful for living and entertaining areas. Green and blue shades are more calming and tranquil, and are suitable for home libraries or offices.Increase the shading of colors to invite a sense of vibrancy into a room. Add reds and violets for passion and stimulation. Be careful not to color the space too vibrantly though, as strong colors can overwhelm over time, reducing comfort within a room.

Incorporate every part of a room’s structure into the color scheme, from walls and carpets to ceilings and window treatments. Make sure all colors in the room complement one another. Include your room's furnishings and decorations in the color scheme. Watch out for any conflicting colors within your color scheme that may jar the balance of the room.

Test the appearance of your color choices in the rooms before actually applying the colors. Obtain a sample of each chosen color and place the sample on a neutral background piece, like a muted grey. Place the background and sample piece against the surface where you intend to apply the color so that you can get a sense of how it looks alongside the room’s furnishings. Test the appearance using varying light levels as well to determine how the room will look at all times.
The Kids Palace

Write down your final color choices for each room and leave the sample colors in place. Live with the samples in place for a week, to make sure you're absolutely comfortable with the colors chosen, changing them if necessary, before buying the paint supplies you need to apply your chosen colors to the wall surfaces of your home.

The basic idea Carion Bilta had put in to mind when creating the luxury homes for you is to  have a pre visualization about the ambiance you needed in your home according to your lifestyle. Being an individual in a million can bring you the creative spark which can give your home the comfort you ever imagined in your craziest dreams. Save For A Better Future!!

Energy conservation means to reduce the quantity of energy that is used for different purposes. This practice may result in increase of financial capital, environmental value, national and personal security, and human comfort.Individuals and organizations that are direct consumers of energy may want to conserve energy in order to reduce energy costs and promote economic, political and environmental sustainability.

Industrial and commercial users may want to increase efficiency and thus maximize profit.Right in your own home, you have the power to save money and energy. Saving energy reduces our nation's overall demand for resources needed to make energy, and increasing your energy efficiency is like adding another clean energy source to our electric power grid.

if we act now. A few simple steps and we can avoid power cuts. But before we list out those steps, just ask yourself, “Am I willing to do my bit for the future of our great city?” I think we all know the answer.

These are the important steps by which you can make the change ,
Shift consumption away from the 10 am - 8 pm peak times:
Let's avoid adding to the power demand during this peak time. By simply using some of our common electrical appliances before and after this time band. Washing machines, geysers, irons, building water pumps – all can be shifted without much inconvenience.

Switch off your devices when not in use.
ACs at 24ยบ C
ACs are possibly the biggest cause of any summer power crisis. Every time one more AC is switched on and every time the temperature is lowered by one more degree, a huge load is added to the system. We can however work towards uninterrupted power – if we give up ‘freezing’ for ‘cool enough’. Let’s all go 24 this summer - it's actually quite comfortable.

Switch off from the plug point
Whenever we leave a plug point ‘ON’ after switching an electrical appliance ‘OFF’ with the remote, power is still being consumed in ‘stand-by mode’. And no small amount either – these little wastages account for an unbelievable 5% of the city’s power consumption. You will agree that's a sheer waste. So, after usage, let's switch off our ACs, TVs, washing machines, microwaves, geysers and mobile chargers from the plug point. Every single time.

It is up to each one of us to make the change - if you will, India will,

Make sure you switchoff your deivces too
Lighting
  • Switch off lights and fans when not required.
  • Replace bulbs with tube lights & CFL(Compact Flourescent Lamps).
  • Utilise natural light by using electronic chokes & regulators.
  • Optimise use of lights in malls, multiplexes & hotels.
  • Turn off the lights when not in use.
  • Take advantage of daylight by using light-coloured, loose-weave curtains on your windows to allow daylight to penetrate the room. Also, decorate with lighter colours that reflect daylight.
  • De-dust lighting fixtures to maintain illumination.
  • Use task lighting; instead of brightly lighting an entire room, focus the light where you need it.
  • Compact fluorescent bulbs are four times more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs and provide the same lighting.
  • Use electronic chokes in place of conventional copper chokes.

  • Electric iron

      • Select iron boxes with automatic temperature cutoff.
      • Use appropriate regulator position for ironing.
      • Do not put more water on clothes while ironing.
      • Do not iron wet clothes.
            Fans

            • Replace conventional regulators with electronic regulators for ceiling fans.
            • Install exhaust fans at a higher elevation than ceiling fans
            Refrigerator

            • Do not open door frequently.
            • Set thermostat in medium cooling position.
            • Keep adequate space from wall.
            • Do not overload the refrigerator.
            • Defrost your refrigerator regularly.
            • Regularly defrost manual-defrost refrigerators and freezers; frost buildup increases the amount of energy needed to keep the motor running.
            • Leave enough space between your refrigerator and the walls so that air can easily circulate around the refrigerator.
            • Don't keep your refrigerator or freezer too cold.
            • Make sure your refrigerator door seals are airtight.
            • Cover liquids and wrap foods stored in the refrigerator. Uncovered foods release moisture and make the compressor work harder.
            • Do not open the doors of the refrigerators frequently.
            • Don't leave the fridge door open for longer than necessary, as cold air will escape.
            • Use smaller cabinets for storing frequently used items.
            • Avoid putting hot or warm food straight into the fridge.
            Washing Machine

            • Use after 10 PM or before 10 AM.
            • Run washing machine only with full load.
            • Use the shortest cycle time.
            • Always wash only with full loads.
            • Use optimal quantity of water.
            • Use timer facility to save energy.
            • Use the correct amount of detergent.
            • Use hot water only for very dirty clothes.
            • Always use cold water in the rinse cycle.
            • Prefer natural drying over electric dryers.

These Simple steps can make the big difference in your energy saving as well as a decrease in your electricity bills, so choose wisely and live well, We the Carion Bilta, saves energy at each step in our building by providing energy efficient devices and harnessing reneweble energy resourses.

            |
Its time for umbrellas and rain coats, yes the rain is at our door steps! Both you and your home will be drenched in the water drops, The season of water damages to your interiors as well exteriors of your favorite home. Heres some rain care tips to keep your home safe and enjoy the rains ,

Depending on your demography, you may be subject to heavy storms that can potentially damage or ruin your home without the proper precautions. So learn how to prepare your home for the rainy season in order to keep your family high and dry, and save yourself in repair costs.

Get your roof ready for the rains. Inspect your roof twice per year to avoid costly problems that can escalate into tremendous cost.Look for cracks along the ridge of your roof and where your shingles fold over to form the cap.Inspect the valleys of your roof (the area of your roof with a downward slope)

Make sure that the sheet metal flashing does not have any holes or rusty spots. Ensure that you do not have any missing, loose or curled shingles. Replace any in that condition that you find as soon as possible so as to avoid moisture leaks inside your home that can weaken your wall and/or ceilings.

Say It Up Loud With Drapes And Curtains
Take a look at your gutters to make sure that they drain well and don't cause water to back up. Also make sure that there are not a lot of little granules collecting in there. Granules in your gutter are a sign that your roof's coating needs to be resealed.Make sure that you don't have any down pipe clogs.

As per the designs from Carion Bilta ,Work from the inside out. Inside your home, check out your ceilings to make sure that you are not experiencing signs of roof or other leakage.
Be on the lookout for water rings, mold or wall or ceiling discoloration. Make any necessary repairs to fix the issue and prevent it from happening again during the upcoming rainy season.

Tackle your doors and your windows. Make sure that both close and seal properly, and make any repairs or improvements as necessary.Make sure that dead branches have been cleared from around your house. This will reduce the risk that they will fall during the storm and damage your home.

Think about having your basement inspected. If water is seeping in, you may have to have the whole thing resealed

So lets welcome the dews and drops to our homes with a smile on our face, keeping our precious house safe and secure, Carion Bilta .wishing you a very safe and enjoyable rainy season ahead.

            Lighting Up Your Living Atmosphere

Ambiance of a room or the place we live on has its own impact on the mood of the human mind. No one wants to work on a tiring work atmosphere. The interiors, the furniture, music, lighting ,everything has to be comfy to get a workable atmosphere. The importance of a well lit interior or a workspace tells a lot about the people and its potential. As one of the pioneer in interior design team in Kerala, Carion Bilta, contain the idea of creating the apt ambiance for your homes. Here we are focusing the limelight towards the interior lighting and the methods.
            Ingeneous Bed Rooms

When it comes about lighting ,there are two rules: You should have a mix of light sources at different levels to create a flattering ambiance, and you need appropriate task lighting for whatever you do in that space (reading, sauteing, getting dressed). The key areas in a home are Living Room,Dining Room, Kitchen,Bed room and the Bath room.

In the Living room, light three of the four corners, focusing one of those lights on an object (art, a plant, a striking chair). Use a combination of table lamps and floor lamps, some with a downward glow and some that shine upward. Allow for reading in as many seats as possible with down-glowing lamps on three-way switches. If you have an overhead fixture, put it on a dimmer.

Dining Room, To draw people in, make the table the brightest spot in the room. Use a chandelier or a pendant above the table, limiting the total wattage to 100. Elsewhere in the room, indirect lighting is best—it’s relaxing and flattering. Give the space a subtle glow with a pair of small table lamps on a sideboard or matching sconces on the wall above. Battery-powered votives inside a glass-front china cabinet can be a nice touch.
            Sleek Workspaces

In the kitchen , focus on overhead lighting (on a dimmer that you can crank up when cooking), and add lower sources to illuminate work surfaces. Use pendants, under-cabinet lights, or a sturdy table lamp (kept away from the sink).

For your bedroom, aim for a cozy, insular atmosphere: Place reading lamps or sconces by the bed—but not pointed directly at it. If you have recessed or track fixtures, angle them away from the bed, toward the dressing area. On a low table, include a small, intimate lamp with a tinted low-wattage bulb to mimic candlelight.
            Ubber Cool  Dining Halls

Bath room, the best choice for applying makeup is sidelights, such as a pair of sconces flanking the mirror. An overhead light helps fill in any shadows on your face and also fully illuminates the room (important when cleaning). In a large space, you might also want a light directly over the shower.

The lighting in a home changes the mood of a room just as it does the perceived size of a room. Placement and type are important aspects of interior design, and they work in conjunction with color selections, room size, availability of natural light and furniture selection. The elements that come together when the right lighting is achieved transform a room into a seamless combination of functionality and style.

            Decorate Your Bedroom

A bedroom is a very important place where people relax after the long day activities. This is where people spend most of their time and therefore it is very important to have a good bedroom design that will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Today, we will talk about the decor tips to design your desired bedroom.

            Pile on the Pillows

Pile on the pillows, and don’t shy away from mixing patterns. Mixing patterns is easy, but making it look good can be a challenge. Combine large prints with small ones, florals with geometrics. Your bedroom will look as beautiful as you desired.

            DIY Artwork

Hanging a graphic thick bed covering made of patches is an easy solution to the “big blank wall” issue. Complementary bed linens pull the decor together. This should help you make them look even more beautiful than just putting plain bedsheets.

            Put Pattern to Work

            Carion Bilta
A printed bedspread, This botanical design, does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to decor. These bed linens can be even hand designed or can be bought ready made. The design is very much calm and soothing which helps your bedroom even more beautiful.

            Reveal a Personal Side

Your bedroom should express your personality (not just design principles), so feel free to go a little off-center, as with the art here. Design is something that speak for you and if it doesn't then its not the right thing for your room. Reveal yourself with your room so as to imprint your personality on your room.
            Carion Bilta

            Carion Bilta

            Decorate With Consistency

Note that the color and fanciful curves of the headboard are repeated by the wall decoration. Everything in your room is about colors and curves, when things put in the right path will deliver the desired results. So be careful that the headboard goes with the wall decoration.
            Make Your Bedroom Comfy
Top your bed with covers made for snuggling, like a down comforter. For total indulgence, choose ultra-soft eiderdown. At last your bed is where you will spend most of your time in your room, so that has to be more comfotable than anything else. So put more stress on overall comfort level.

            Carion Bilta

So these were a few bedroom decor tips from Carion Bilta.
